Where, When & How Long?
Face to face lessons take place at my music studio in Mount Lawley.
Live online lessons are also available.
Individual lessons are once a week for 30, 45 or 60 minutes either during the day, after school or Saturday morning.
What You Will Learn
Clarinet technique, reading music, aural (listening) skills, music theory and ensemble skills over a wide range of music either solo or with accompaniment. Lessons are tailored to meet the needs and preferences of the student. Play for fun or take the challenge of exams.
Never Too Young or Too Old
Age is no barrier. You can learn to play the clarinet at any age from 6 years to 60 years and beyond.
Don’t Have a Clarinet?
I have clarinets available for my students to hire. I also provide advice for students looking to purchase a new or second hand clarinet.
Ensemble Lessons
Making music with others is a fun and rewarding experience. Adult ensemble classes are held monthly for all abilities from beginners to advanced in groups of 3 to 6 students per group. Ensemble classes for younger students are grouped according to age. The frequency of lessons depends on student availability.
